YOUR WORKDAY TAKES ENOUGH OUT OF YOU.
YOUR FITNESS PLAN SHOULDN'T TAKE THE REST.
A plan built for a predictable schedule falls apart when your life isn't predictable. Fitness has to account for what your week actually demands from you.

LONG SHIFTS
Early starts, late finishes, physical work, and overtime that doesn't always end when planned.
FAMILY RESPONSIBILITIES
Dinner, school runs, bedtime, weekends, and being present when you finally get home.
LIMITED RECOVERY
Irregular sleep, accumulated fatigue, and very little room for training that wastes your time.
REAL LIFE
The unexpected weeks, changing schedules, and responsibilities that generic programs rarely account for.
YOU'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIT YOUR LIFE AROUND FITNESS.
IT SHOULD BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
Most fitness plans are built backwards.
The training schedule comes first.
The diet comes first.
The rules come first.
Then you're expected to make your shifts, your family, your sleep, and your responsibilities fit around them.
For a blue-collar dad, that breaks down fast.
THE PLAN SHOULD ADAPT TO YOUR LIFE.
NOT ASK YOUR LIFE TO ADAPT TO THE PLAN.
YOUR LIFE COMES FIRST.
THE METHOD BUILDS FROM THERE.
The PlateUp Method builds fitness in the order real life requires — recover, fuel, build, then perform.
RECOVER
Build the recovery foundation your body needs to handle training and real life.
FUEL
Create a nutrition strategy that supports your energy, training and schedule.
BUILD
Build strength and fitness with training designed around the life you actually live.
PERFORM
Turn the foundation into a body that can perform — at work, in training and at home.
RESULTS THAT HAD TO WORK IN REAL LIFE.
HIS SCHEDULE NEVER STAYED THE SAME. HIS PROGRESS DID.

On-call railroad shifts. Unpredictable sleep. A family depending on him.
Taylor is a combat veteran who had sustained injuries. He wanted to lose his dad bod, build muscle, and have more energy for his family — but rotating on-call hours made consistent, quality sleep difficult.
He didn't need a plan that assumed every week would look the same. Sam built training, nutrition, and daily routines structured to adapt regardless of shift timing.
“CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR THE HABITS/SKILLS YOU'VE SHOWED ME TO ADAPT TO MY DAY TO DAY.”
— TAYLOR MORRIS • ON-CALL RAILROAD WORKERTWO DAYS IN THE GYM. A PLAN THAT FITS EVERYTHING ELSE.
Between teaching, coaching, and raising a toddler, Taylor didn't have hours to waste on the wrong plan.
He wanted to lose fat without sacrificing precious evening time with his wife and child. After years of trying to make progress independently, he was unsure which workouts and nutritional setup would actually deliver.
Sam designed a meal plan around his teaching schedule and a full-body routine requiring just two gym sessions per week — training each major muscle group twice weekly alongside sleep and energy routines.

DIFFERENT SCHEDULES. DIFFERENT CONSTRAINTS. ONE METHOD.
THIS WASN'T BUILT FROM INSIDE A FITNESS BUBBLE.

Sam spent more than 13 years working blue-collar jobs before he ever coached anyone — long enough to know that a fitness plan built for a perfect week falls apart in a real one.
He learned how to train, eat, and recover through his own weight gain, aggressive dieting, and trial and error. That experience, not theory, is what he now coaches from.
“I know what it's like to finish a long shift and still want to have something left for the people waiting at home.”— SAM RODRIGUEZ

GETTING IN SHAPE ISN'T THE END GOAL.
BEING ABLE TO SHOW UP IS.
The number on the scale matters less if you're still too exhausted to enjoy the life you're working so hard to provide.
Build a body that can handle the work — and still have something left for home.
A PLAN THAT CHANGES WHEN REAL LIFE DOES.
PERSONALIZED TRAINING
Training structured around your current fitness level, available equipment, schedule, and recovery.
NUTRITION THAT FITS YOUR LIFE
A practical nutrition approach designed around foods you can realistically eat and meals that can still work with your family.
WEEKLY 1:1 CHECK-INS
Regular coaching conversations to review progress, solve problems, and adjust the plan.
DIRECT ACCESS TO SAM
Personal support from your coach rather than being left alone with a template.
ONGOING ADJUSTMENTS
Your plan evolves when your work schedule, recovery, progress, or life changes.
YOUR JOB IS HARD ENOUGH.
YOUR FITNESS PLAN SHOULDN'T MAKE LIFE HARDER.
Let's talk about your schedule, what's been getting in the way, and what a realistic path forward could look like.
